I never expected to want to go into the beauty industry, but after searching for weeks for college courses that would work around being a full-time mum, I stumbled across Laura Bell Academy. I decided to give it a go and signed up for the Complete Lash and Brow Course. When I went to Laura’s salon for the training, I was so nervous as I was completely new to this. However, she was so welcoming and warm that I instantly felt at ease and thought, “I can actually do this.” Laura is incredibly detailed with her training and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. She provides you with a full kit to get started and takes the time to answer every question you have. Ayla taught the brows and lash lift, and she was so lovely, funny and helpful. She really put me at ease and when I felt like I couldn’t do something, she reminded me that it was my first time and that it takes a lot of practice. She was very detailed in her teaching and always there to guide and support us. The whole experience was supportive, professional, and really boosted my confidence. Laura is the best! She is a brilliant mentor and comes across so positively and passionately about what she does. As a newbie to the beauty industry I couldn’t have asked for a better training experience thanks to Laura. I truly enjoyed every part of this course. I came in a bit nervous, but Laura Bell Team made me feel comfortable and confident right away. The way the acrylic, gel, e-file, and manicure/pedicure techniques were explained made learning easy and enjoyable. I really appreciated the patience, encouragement, and individual feedback throughout. This course has boosted my confidence so much, and I’m excited to start using these skills professionally. The only thing I feel could make the experience even better would be having a little more practice time and perhaps offering recap videos of the demonstrations so we can look back on them afterward. I finally competed Laura’s gel nail polish course today after hearing such great things about her courses. Can’t recommend her enough , Myself and my model both felt welcomed and relaxed. I’ve completed the full nail course with Laura at Laura Bell Academy. Every course has been thorough and a lot of fun. Laura is amazing at responding / giving advice to any queries or case studies sent any day or time. 100% recommend if anyone is fancy a change in career or to further their current skills! Just to say thank you so much for today! I was absolutely bricking it, but you made it such an incredibly comfortable and great day. I really enjoyed it and was shocked how relaxed I felt which was thanks to Laura! Laura is an amazing teacher/lecturer and so glad I booked to do the manicure, pedicure and Gel polish courses with her!
